From May 22nd to 25th, ART021 BEIJING will be held at the 79 Tank and First Workshop in the 798·751 Art District. This edition of ART021 BEIJING will welcome over 40 galleries and special projects from 11 countries and regions. Approximately half of the participating galleries are based in Beijing, while more than a dozen international galleries will also join, alongside galleries from major art hubs such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen. This balanced and diverse lineup will present a series of high-quality projects that blend international and local perspectives.
For the first time, ART021 BEIJING will take place in the 798·751 Art District, the largest art-focused cultural industry cluster in China. The district will provide a unique platform for artistic and cultural exchange, further promoting cross-disciplinary resource expansion in contemporary art. Leveraging the strengths of 798·751, ART021 BEIJING will showcase a dialogue between the classic and the contemporary, unlock the potential of cross-boundary collaboration in contemporary art, and deeply engage with the local art ecosystem, offering collectors and art enthusiasts a refreshing exhibition experience.
This year, the Ling Dengyu Yi Art Group officially announced that JINGART has been renamed to the ART021 BEIJING Modern & Contemporary Art Fair, abbreviated as ART021 BEIJING.
As a long-standing and successful fair operated by the Ling Dengyu Yi Art Group in Beijing, this rebranding will further consolidate the group’s comprehensive resources and promote the diversified development of Beijing’s art market.
As China’s cultural capital, Beijing has always held a significant historical position in the development of Chinese art, with the 798·751 Art District playing a crucial role. Today, the district bears an even greater responsibility in fostering public engagement with culture and the arts, where nonprofit institutions and galleries serve as vital bridges.
In 2025, the 798·751 Art District will highlight the transformative impact of art on the city’s cultural ecosystem, with the core goal of establishing the "Beijing Art Season." By uniting ART021 BEIJING Modern & Contemporary Art Fair and Beijing Contemporary Art Fair, and collaborating with galleries and nonprofit institutions across Beijing, the district will jointly build an artistic ecosystem network centered around the capital.

"Beijing, as a pivotal market and academic hub for Chinese contemporary art, holds significant importance for our group. We maintain profound and multifaceted connections with the city's art industry. Since its inaugural edition in 2018, JINGART Beijing has witnessed the participation of numerous international galleries—including David Zwirner, Lisson Gallery, and Almine Rech—marking their first appearances at a Beijing art fair. We are equally honored to have grown alongside esteemed local galleries such as ShanghART, Tang Contemporary Art, Triumph Gallery, and Hive Center for Contemporary Art, all of which have participated multiple times. The fair’s consistently high-caliber and diverse lineup has earned widespread recognition within the industry, while also introducing fresh voices from both China and abroad, continually enriching Beijing’s artistic landscape."
