This June, returning to its home base, Art Basel 2025 in Basel is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated art events on the global art calendar. This year's fair brings together 291 leading international galleries from 42 countries and regions, presenting outstanding artworks across various media — from early 20th-century modern pioneers to contemporary artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art.

Basel, Switzerland — this small European city has become a global art sanctuary this month, attracting countless collectors and art lovers from around the world. Art institutions rooted in Beijing’s 798 Art District — including Beijing Commune, Magician Space, Galleria Continua, Galerie Urs Meile, Tokyo Gallery + BTAP, and CLC Gallery — are also making their appearance at this world-class art fair, bringing an array of exciting works. As these two art destinations meet across half the globe under the summer sun, weaving a globally connected art network, where will the "weather vane" of the art market point for the second half of the year? Let’s head to the banks of the Rhine and find out.

At the same time, in the Kabinett sector, Beijing Commune will present a solo project by Hu Xiaoyuan.
