For a long time, Cao Fei's creation has focused on the development and changes of Chinese society, and carried out individualized observation and expression of the various realities that occurred during the period in a surrealistic form. As the artist's first retrospective exhibition so far, "Staging the Era " presents her important works created in more than two decades, and uses an immersive on-site construction to reproduce historical situations. The exhibition does not simply sort out the time clues of the works, but uses four parts: "Southern Game", "Urban Paradise", "Inside and Outside Workshop", and "Alternative Reality" to discuss the key themes involved in Cao Fei's artistic creation to make an induction. The exhibition site, full of chronological sense, presents the artist's creation from her student days to the recent past, reflecting the integration of individual experience and collective memory in an era.

The exhibition "The Things 2020" being held in Magician Space presents a new series of works that Hu Jieming started last year. During the quarantine period, the artist began to pay more attention to the ordinary objects that are ubiquitous in daily life but are easily overlooked, and used this as an opportunity to dig deeper into their new perceptions of everyday objects and the subtle relationships between people and objects. In the "The Things" series, everything from flowers and plants, fruits and vegetables, to corners of the room and household objects can become the main body of expression. The artist tries to remove the acquired meaning of these substances as much as possible, and then highlights his own formal characteristics. Through a series of processing of colors and images, certain emotions and perceptions are effectively strengthened.

In 1979, the "New Year Landscape Still Life Exhibition" was held in Zhongshan Park, Beijing. The foreword of the exhibition was written by Jiang Feng, then chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, and published in "Reading" magazine, emphasizing the legality of free association and its contribution to the development of art. The significance of promotion, together with a series of events that happened at that time, marked the opening of a new trend in the art world. The "2021 Spring Fever" held by Platform China gathered some of the works and artists who had participated in the "New Year Painting Exhibition" in 1979, and invited more than 30 other artists to participate. The exhibition takes a historical event in the art world as an opportunity and starting point, and extends from it. Through the individual practice of artists of different generations, the exhibition explores their own thinking in creation and the commonalities between each other.

Tong Gallery+Projects presents images, installations and paintings created by four young artists in its new exhibition "The Republic and Qiu Shui". The curator Zhou Tong borrowed Plato's and Zhuangzi's respective philosophical ideas as themes, and extended them to the cognition of reality and illusion, as well as the relationship between existence and individual, in artistic creation.Ding Shiwei's three groups of works in the exhibition all convey the theme of "gaze" by capturing the faces and eyes of the characters. Liu Guoqiang's video installations and photographs present a multi-dimensional view of daily life with concise visual images. Yi Lian has created scenes in his photographs and paintings that are detached from reality, while Jin Yanan's creations highlight the existence of differences in the collusion mechanism of individuals or groups.
